Most bi-fold brochures start with an 8.5 x 11 sheet folded in half to 5.5 x 8.5. Larger formats like 11 x 17 fold down to 8.5 x 11. We also produce custom sizes. Common terms for this brochure type include bi-fold or half-fold.
Gloss text paper is the most popular for a polished, professional look. Matte finishes are great for a softer feel, and heavier cover stocks can make your brochure feel more substantial.
Choose a bi-fold when you want larger panels, bigger photos, or fewer folds for a clean layout. Tri-folds work well for step-by-step content or more sections. If you are not sure, we will recommend the best format for your content.
We can handle brochure design from start to finish, or you can provide a print-ready file. Many clients share their logo, copy, and images, and we take care of the layout and setup for print.
Be sure to include proper bleeds (.125″ on all sides), keep text at least 1/4″ away from fold lines and pages edge, and export as a high-resolution PDF. If you’re not confident in setup, we’ll preflight your files and flag anything that might cause issues.
Digital jobs can often be completed in just a few business days. Larger offset runs may take a little longer, depending on volume and finishing. We’ll confirm your timeline upfront so you can plan around your deadlines.
